BatchTarget Limited

About Us

BatchTarget is an IT Solutions provider based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire

The business was established in 1991 to provide IT consultancy to a broad spectrum of businesses ranging from small local companies to large multinationals. The company quickly expanded and began providing software development in addition to consultancy and project management.

Initial software development focussed on minicomputers running VMS and Unix, but with the release of Microsoft Windows 3.0 in 1992 a new platform became available and BatchTarget began providing low cost software solutions running under Windows.

BatchTarget and the Internet

In 1994 BatchTarget became involved in intranet development for Digital Equipment. At this time the company had been providing data warehousing design and development services to Digital. Eventually the two threads were combined into a massive (multi-terabyte) pan-European Enterprise Information System supporting thousands of users across Europe and the Middle East.

Responding to demand from existing clients, 2001 saw BatchTarget begin providing a suite of internet services including web development and hosting. Experience gained in the preceding years allowed for the provision of a professional service at a realistic price point.

The Future

With 15 years of trading history, BatchTarget has a proven track record of delivering quality services over a long period of time. The company is perfectly placed to provide IT services to support customers, secure in the knowledge that they are not dealing with a here today, gone tomorrow business, but rather a supplier who has continually shown and ability to adapt and grow with the industry, able to bring the best of today's and tomorrow's technology to the marketplace.
